Besa does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers. There is no account, analytics service, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, or runtime connection to a Besa server.

Data stored on your device

Besa stores lesson progress, review schedules, favorite words, streaks, XP, museum pieces, reminders, and app settings in local app storage. This information does not leave your device through Besa. Your device backup may include it under Apple’s or Google’s own policies.

Permissions

Notifications are optional and are scheduled locally by your device. Besa does not register a push token. The app reads the device language to suggest a helper language, entirely on-device. Besa does not request microphone access.

Audio and third parties

Pronunciation audio was generated in advance using neural text-to-speech and bundled with the app. No speech service is contacted while you use Besa. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service.

Children

Besa is a general-audience educational app and is not directed specifically to children. Because Besa collects no personal data, it does not collect personal data from children.

Deleting your data

Use “Reset all progress” in the app settings or delete the app. Besa operates no server copy and cannot restore deleted progress.
